Bruce J. Brothers: Bruce was born and raised in Havre, Montana. Following military service, he enrolled at the University of Oregon, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He attended law school at the University of Oregon, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1969. He accepted employment offered by the District Attorney's office in Los Angeles and was a Deputy District Attorney until he entered private practice in 1973. He practiced in Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach until 1980 when he married his wife, Carol, purchased a farm in Tumalo and began his practice in Bend. He has practiced in his beautiful building across from Mirror Pond since 1983, where his partners have included Judge Stephen Tiktin and Judge Michael Adler, prior to their appointments as circuit court judges. Bruce has served on numerous committees and boards including the Oregon Council on Court Procedures, as well as the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. He is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible attorney rating. Bruce continues to practice at both the trial and appellate court level. He has had numerous successes, particularly involving complex insurance issues. His litigation practice has included personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice and sexual harassment, with a particular focus on insurance policy disputes.


Wayne D. Hawn: Wayne has practiced in the area of civil litigation nearly continuously since 1993, focusing primarily on representing people who have been harmed by the actions of others. He has represented people against both individuals and large multi-national corporations and insurance companies. Wayne was born in Juneau, Alaska, and raised in Anchorage. He fled the ice and received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and then immediately enrolled in law school at the University of Washington. After graduation in 1993, Wayne returned to Juneau for a short period, and then moved to Anchorage, where his practice focused primarily on plaintiff's personal injury and products liability as well as contamination, aviation and anti-trust law. In late 2007, he and his family moved to Bend, Oregon, where he continues to represent people who have been harmed by the actions of others. Wayne is admitted in Alaska, Washington and Oregon State Courts, The U.S. District Court for the states of Alaska and Oregon and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jennifer L. Coughlin: Jennifer grew up in Eastern Oregon and moved to Bend in 1994 to attend Sunriver Preparatory School. She left Oregon to attend Colby College in Maine and returned for law school in Portland. After completing her Juris Doctor, she returned to Bend to practice law. Her practice has focused on civil litigation. In particular, she has concentrated on the area of personal injury and enjoys assisting clients throughout difficult periods of their lives when they have been harmed by the actions of others. When not at the office, Jennifer can be found mountain biking, skiing or hiking around beautiful Central Oregon.
